While I was browsing the Internet for some ways to earn money online, I came across a site which was talking about affiliate marketing. The site has numerous products and we have to advertise the products and sell them. Till then I was unaware of on-line shopping sites like e-bay. Internet dating is one of the most highly debated and popular things going on right now. Internet dating through cyberspace has been thought to be dangerous and uninformative. Many claim that providing personal information about yourself through the web gives you a bigger chance of getting your identity stolen. Credit card theft can happen as well, depending on whom you give that information to. But then again cyberspace alone is a dangerous endeavour not just internet dating. In this story I will be talking about myself! I am a work at home young mother who absolutely loves being able to have web access. I currently don't have job so I spend alot of time at home in front of the Laptop. Without it, I just don't know what I'd do! I spend more time on the internet than I do hanging out with friends. I guess in some ways it can be bad but as long as your not doing anything illegal on the internet then all is good right? I'm into web page design and I managed about 3 or 4 personal websites so you see how important internet access is for me. I mean without it, I won't be able to manage and update them even though I am currently just having web access though a dial-up modem. Yes that's right my internet access is not comming from cable or broadband, it's really really slow but I love it anyways cause with it I am still able to do the necessary things I have to. Other than webdesign, I am also into graphic design and you don't really need internet access for that unless you are ready to upload your finished graphic online, I don't really do it to all the graphics I've created, I like it better being saved on my desktop for my viewing pleasure as well as other family members.

I love everything about the internet, my career is a web designer, i adore everything to do with computers so i was very drawn into having a career as a web designer. It all started back in school when I was thought how to use the computer only basic things of course but it really started for me when i got my own computer and developed more what they where teaching me in school at home, it was so interesting to me the whole world of opportunities that were before me because of this. I started by getting involved in the internet world, there was so much to do and to learn, i got more familiar with google and when they taught us more in school i really absorbed all the knowledge and enjoyed it, i asked as many questions as possible and in time i became very strong and full of knowledge when it came to online life, My computer at home was serving its purpose for me, i got into an on-line auction which was really fun and exciting, i liked to shop so it was fun to bid for things online especially at a big busy on-line auction i loved it. The information highway! What an invention! The whole world basically sitting on my lap right under my fingertips. I went to a company called re route ltd to get my television fixed. They re routed the cathode tubes well I thought, in comparison to other companies of that type. I was then able to bring my television to the internet cafe where I work and watch it while I stand at the counter waiting for nerds to come in and buy some time. But one day a nerd came in that was particularly belligerent and he knocked over my television in a fit, when I said we didn't serve coffee. So while he was thrown out, I was left with nothing to wile away the hours with while I stood at the counter. So one day I decided to see what all this fuss was about with the internet. I logged onto one of the machines with the administrator's user name and surfed the information highway. Wow was I amazed. It was an intricate series of tubes full of information. I couldn't believe my eyes, and ears, because it had audio too! Amazing. Soon I was checking the weather and stock prices and the national news in no time at all. It only took 2 seconds and a few clicks to bring this wealth of knowledge to my finger tips. I couldn't believe I'd worked at an internet cafe for so long and never had browsed the information highway before. But sadly my buzz got killed when the owner noticed the hours I was spending on the computers, and saw how it was impacting my work. He revoked my administrator user name and so now I'd have to pay to use the computers. I resigned myself to a fate of never browsing the internet again, but my resolve only lasted a week. The cravings for the banquet of information that the internet is grew too great and I knew I had to get back onto the information highway again. So I broke into my boss's office late one night and stole his log-in information that he had sellotaped to the top of the drawer of his desk. I used his user name then to log on to the internet and had hours of fun until I was fired. Now I have to go to another internet cafe. And I have to pay!

Alex was writing a song one day about an email program that flew through cyberspace and had to take a re route to be delivered to the targeted recipient. The email was about a computer program that was trying to edit how cyberspace worked and the email contained lots of codes and scripts that only the recipient could read. Alex used to be fascinated by cyberspace. He found it amazing how one program could be sent from one person and travel through space, across the whole universe and be able to be opened by the recipient across the world in a matter of seconds. It was just such an overwhelming thought for him. He remembered when his Grandfather would tell him old stories about how they never had such technology. He remembered how his Grandfather would say things like 'and pigs will fly if that ever happens' referring to advances in technology what we now have.
