Max was a lonely guy. He had tried dating on-line, but nobody ever liked his profile. He tried to make friends with on-line gaming, but nobody would ever talk to him. He even tried advertising on-line to get people to go to his on-line dating account. Nothing worked. One day when he tried dating on-line someone said they wanted to meet him in person. He was very excited! He no longer would have to do on-line gaming to find friends or advertising on-line to get people to look at his profile! He immediately set up a date with the person who had contacted him.
The night of his date, he was standing in his mirror, looking at himself. He found himself wondering who would ever love him. He knew he was not a good-looking guy. He was basically a nerd. Someone who does web page design and on-line gaming. That's why he was surprised and excited when his plan of advertising on-line to get people to look at his profile worked.
But this was his only chance to find love. He had reasons to be skeptical, but he decided to put those thoughts behind him as he walked out the door. The place they were meeting was at a fancy restaurant called "Chino's". It was very expensive, but Max had enough money. He didn't know what this person looked like so as soon as he walked in, he started looking around. There were a few couples in the restaurant, but no single people. He took his seat and waited.
After 20 minutes, Max was beginning to feel like his date was not going to show up. He was just about to ask the waiter for the bill when suddenly someone walked through the door.
It was a beautiful woman. She had on a red sparkly dress and high heels. Max couldn't believe it as she started walking towards his table. "Are you Max?" She asked.
He couldn't even speak. She was unbelievably beautiful. Her smile was like a thousand diamonds glittering at him. But he instantly noticed something. Two of her front teeth were extremely pointy. A little too pointy. Max's dreamy stare turned into a stare of horror. This woman was not here for him. She was here for his blood.
She sat right by him and slowly moved towards his neck. Max closed his eyes and hoped it wouldn't hurt too much.
This is why dating on-line is sometimes a BAD idea.
