Technology at its Best

I own an internet cafe. I worked steadfastly overseas for me to earn my capital for this small-scale business venture. I was employed as an information technology help desk analyst in a multi national company. Hmmm, let me just give you a very short background of my duties there. I support issues with domain servers, problems with the desktop or notebook computers,like virus and spyware infections and many more ad hoc responsibilities. Let me elaborate further, example of domain issues are unable to logon to the domain system, locked out accounts and invalid domain names. For the virus and spy ware issues, usually it involves a pc running very very slow, and if you check the background processes several malicious and malevolent things are running in the system, which utilizes most of the CPU.

After almost 4 agonizing years of working there and far away from all my loved ones, I decided to come home. The excitement and the eagerness to return to my own country is so strong that for the last few weeks my zest and eagerness to work died gradually. I performed languidly and nonchalantly in the office. And when my flight day arrived I was full of glee and mirth! I had a smile permanently pasted on my face on my entire trip. I was alleviated and in ecstasy.

The moment came when the plane touched the ground! Yippee I am home!

My family was there to welcome me home, and I felt I really belonged here.

After few days of bonding with my family,close relatives and friends, I decided to hunt a good place for my internet cafe. With a help from my previous colleague, I found a great spot near a prestigious university and a reputable company. A perfect place. Melting pot for yuppies (slang for young professionals) and students. My internet cafe caters to all computer works. To name a few, we do reformatting of pc and hard drive, we do virus scanning and upgrading of system, including creating web designs. Also, my cafe serves all types of coffee and pastries. My venture clicked and blossomed. I was earning more than what I expected. I was so ecstatic and elated!

All my years of hard labor and homesickness paid off!
