I run a highly successful Internet security company, we deal with all types of problems from issues with web design, web access and Internet Security.

Apart from dealing with Internet security which is our main bread and butter as you say, the other most lucrative part of the company is web access, our clients generally come to us with a web design that they have in the process of making and want us to get it noticed online but also have the peace of mind that it is a secure site.

What we do is when gaining them web access we will issue them with a user name, this user name will always stay the same and only one user name will be issued per company, this saves the hassle of different log ins and too many users, which we find is where problems start to arise as it not that particular user that may cause problems on a site but what they already have on their computer which most of the time they don't know about but by going into the editing suite of the site will sometimes allow it to corrupt the site.

Each time the site is needed to be accessed the person who wishes to gain web access to the site will phone up our help desk an will be given a generated password this password has an expiration date on it and if that person does not log on within the next hour the password will run out and they will have to get a new one, also the site has a timer on it and if someone is logged in in editing mode but nothing has been done for an hour the access will automatically shut down this stops people leaving it open on their computer by error and someone coming along who doesn't know what they are doing and pressing something.

We found that alot of problems generally tend to arise from user issues people who dont know what they are doing and have been given a user name just because their position in the company allows it By doing things our way this cuts out any of that and lets us and the owner determine who and when can gain access. It makes our job and theirs alot easier and we find it is a very popular way to run things.
